RUSSIAN PROGRAM

A truly wonderful and unique item - an invitation to a press conference of the Academy of Sciences with the 23 signatures of every Soviet cosmonaut from Vostok 1 (12-4-61) to Soyuz 9 (1-6-70). See below for a signature guide for the item.

The necessary key to the above item! The signature on the front of the invitation is that of Shonin.

With a splendid view of the earth through the window, Cosmonaut Yuri Malechenko sends me greetings from the International Space Station.

SOYUZ TM-12 FLOWN COVER

This cover flew with the Soyuz TM-12 crew to the Mir space station in May 1991. The crew included Helen Sharman who became Britains first person in space. The full TM-12 crew of Artesbarsky, Krikalev and Sharman all signed the cover. It is also signed by Manarov and Afanasyev who, along with Sharman, accompanied the cover back to earth.
